PARTY
IDEAS
some
of our favorites
We
still cater to long-planned, big-deal parties and we know you
like them too. But we often find ourselves thinking,"We should
do this more often." If you're like us, you've already discovered
that whenever inspiration and opportunity happen simultaneously,
it's always special!
low
country boil
It's
a party in a kettle! Our traditional Low Country Boil prepared
with local seafood, smoked sausage, corn on the cob and potatoes
spells LOTS O' FUN for warm weather entertaining. Roll up your
sleeves, gather 'round the table and chow down for some good eatin'.
fireside
supper
When
we find out what's so relaxing about watching the glow of a fire,
we're going to bottle it, sell it and spend every day on the beach.
Invite your friends to gather 'round the flames (indoors or out)
and supply lots of background music for reflective conversation.

Cast
a wide net and snag some new friends. Ask your regular guests to
bring a person or couple new to the crowd. Besides meeting new people,
spend the time sampling new foods and beverages along with CDs your
guests have been asked to share.

For
as long as we can remember, sharing food has always led to sharing
thoughts. Does food really excite taste buds enough to make tongues
move? Find out when each guest adds the next chapter to a story
beginning that you initiate. For even more fun, record the dinner
hour to play back next year. Be sure to dine by candlelight and
spin only instrumentals for background music.

for those with pet peeves. Here's a chance to vent stories of irony,
laughter and "what goes around, comes around." Allow people
to find their favorite sitting area then play a few tunes of lyin,
cryin', cheatin' and dyin' music to get things started.

Japanese dinner
Begin
the evening with Japanese music and an unusual assortment of our
chef's favorite Southern Sushi selections. (Or,
if you're entertaining a hands-on crowd, you can let our chef direct
your crew in rolling their own creations.) In any event, hand out
the chopsticks, pour the sake and enjoy the party!
